Hi, I'm Andrew.
Filmmaker, engineer, and the person behind SolidClip Media.
What started as a creative outlet has grown into a passion for capturing meaningful moments, telling real stories, and creating films that people can return to for years.

From a Creative Outlet to SolidClip Media.

Before SolidClip Media, there was just Andrew Sudyk Productions.
It started with a camera, a passion for creating, and a lot of new name ideas and hand drawn logos. In 2021, after countless revisions, the logo finally became official. What began as a personal creative outlet gradually grew into something much bigger.
While studying computer engineering, I found that videography offered a creative freedom that equations and calculations couldn't provide.
Whenever a lecture became a little too difficult to sit through, I'd find myself opening my editing software and picking up where I'd left off on a bridal shower video.
Arranging clips on a timeline felt like painting a picture.
I quickly realized that arranging the right moments in the right order, at the right tempo, could evoke genuine emotion.
To this day, hearing that someone shed a few happy tears while watching their video is one of the greatest compliments I can receive.
The Art of Being Unnoticed.
Since those early days, SolidClip Media has worked with dozens of clients, capturing everything from weddings and personal milestones to corporate events and promotional productions. There's something special about being trusted to document some of the most important moments in people's lives. It's a big responsibility, and one we don't take lightly.
Ironically, a big part of doing our job well is making sure nobody notices us doing it. We dress in black, move quietly, and do our best to blend into the background.
“You guys did so well, we couldn't even see you!
— A bride, after her wedding day
We had spent 12 hours capturing her wedding day, yet somehow managed to stay out of the way of the very moments we were there to preserve.
That compliment has stuck with me ever since. It's a simple philosophy that continues to shape how we approach our work today.
Capture everything that matters, without becoming part of the moment.
There's More to the Story.
When I'm not holding a camera, you'll probably find me riding my electric unicycle.
And when I'm not doing that, I'm usually working on my latest engineering project.
Engineering and filmmaking might seem like two completely different worlds, but I've come to appreciate how much they have in common.
